A Special Moment
Dear Friends of Catholic Leadership Institute,
Almost 28 years ago, I had the privilege of creating a ministry to create leaders in the Catholic Church that has transformed into the Catholic Leadership Institute of today. During those years, there have been special moments that truly define who we are, what we are called to do, and the profound blessing it is to serve the Church.
I want to share one of those moments with you…
Recently, our CEO, Dan Cellucci, had the honor of speaking at the Legatus Annual Summit. His words were focused on the truth of where we are as a Church, but more importantly the truth of who we are called to be as followers of Christ.
As Dan’s talk ended, I rose to my feet with tears in my eyes. Tears of hope. Hope in the church. Hope in our leaders. Hope in Catholic Leadership Institute’s work with our clergy, parishes, and dioceses at this pivotal time in Church history. Hope that our Church will be here for our children, grandchildren, and beyond.
I feel called by the Holy Spirit to share my hope with you. Below is a link to a short 2-minute video that shares highlights of Dan’s presentation. If you are curious to hear more – you can click the second link to hear Dan’s talk in its entirety.
I am grateful for those of you who - like me - have already been called to support the work of Catholic Leadership Institute. For those who may be just hearing the call or discerning ways to make a difference, I pray that you will:
- Talk with me about opportunities to support this unique ministry,
- respond to this email to simply say you’d like to learn more or to share your thoughts,
- visit here to give; or
- include CLI and Church leadership in your prayers; I will be keeping you in mine.
As you will hear in Dan’s talk, this hope needs to be accompanied by prayer, action, and faith. I truly believe we are up for the task. We are grateful for all those who have joined this effort and would be blessed to have you join us.
With great hope in the future,
